Professional Experience

True experience is hard to demonstrate, with solar companies failing and employees moving around from one failing endeavor to another it may appear that a team is filled with “proven industry experts” when in actuality many of them have never worked together on a single project. Westcoast Solar energy is unique in that our team is made up of professionals that have worked together for years advancing the solar industry as a team. We still employ 5 members of our original founding team and the average tenure of our employees is over 4 years. We know how important teamwork is to understanding the intricacies of the projects we tackle. From hillside arrays to extensive winery installations, to residential projects, the successful experience we provide is unmatched in the North Bay.

In-house Installation

We don’t use subcontractors. We have fully licensed electricians and technicians that will take care of the entire installation. By keeping the job in-house, we ensure industry-leading quality control from design through implementation.

In-house Equipment

Westcoast Solar Energy realized at a very early stage the recipe to deliver the best quality installations. By investing in tools and equipment to make our installations teams highly efficient we lower our cost of installation without lowering quality. Since our focus is on commercial and large residential systems we own: a 55ft Gradall, a Caterpillar 308D excavator, a Caterpillar 259 skidsteer tractor, forklift and all the necessary tools to make quick work of any difficulty. In addition to this, we have numerous trucks, trailers and even an electric car to help us be the best solar company we can be.
